Seth struggles with not getting to play soccer during the games because his skills are not great. I think this is something that a lot of children can relate to, maybe not just in sports, but just a feeling of not fitting in. Seth takes action to build his skills in a unique manner and ends up with a big surprise. The characters are supportive of each other and the illustrations allow the reader to get lost in imagination.

A Heartwarming Story about courage and friendship.
This is such a delightful story about Seth the raccoon, who decides to take ballet over the summer to improve at soccer. It’s a charming tale about bravery, friendship, and discovering hidden talents.

I really enjoyed how the author keeps the message straightforward yet deeply meaningful. The artwork is vibrant and brings Spruce Hollow to life in a wonderful way. As a dad and former Scout Leader, I especially appreciated how it encourages kids to explore new things and feel proud of themselves.

This is a heartwarming story perfect for young readers or a wonderful bedtime story. I’d definitely give it 4 stars.

A warm little story about curiosity and teamwork, perfect for early readers or bedtime. The search for a missing boot leads to some cute, silly moments and a cozy ending. I love how there are little interactive moments, like “can you find the other boot?” The art fits the gentle tone perfectly, a wholesome read that feels like a hug from a storybook forest.

Very cute children’s book. My granddaughter has read the previous “Spruce Hollow Tales” and was excited to receive the newest book. Very well written and beautifully drawn characters.

A lovely story about friendship, jealousy, envy, gossip, and forgiveness. The story keeps your interest and makes you wanna read to the end to see how everything turns out. It’s nice to see that the two best friends Bindi Bear and Olive Otter, whose friendship had been deeply tested, managed to work together, forgive one another and overcome their differences in the end. Even making amends and giving a second chance to Poppy Raccoon who had started the whole debacle. A nice story to teach kids how to be friends, watch out for deception, and be willing to begin again.

A wonderful story about Bindi the Bear and Olive the Otter involved in a cooking contest. Jealousy and treachery permeate the story until a beautiful resolution is reached. A good teaching tool to illustrate friendship and forgiveness. Attractive artwork adds to the story.
